Text
The commission may do the following:
(1)Issue proclamations and resolutions to commemorate the
250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of
Independence.
(2)Accept gifts, contributions and bequests of funds from
individuals, foundations, corporations, limited liability
companies, and other organizations, to be used in carrying out the
purposes of this chapter.
(3)Apply for, receive, and disburse any funds available from the
state or federal government in furtherance of the objectives of this
chapter and to enter into any agreements that may be required by
the state or federal government as a condition of obtaining the
funds.
(4)Make and sign any agreements and do and perform any acts
that may be necessary to carry out the commission's purposes and
duties.
