The committee shall advise and assist the children's health policy board established by IC 4-23-27-2 in the development, coordination, and evaluation of policies that have an impact on children, with a focus on children with special health needs, by doing the following:
(1)Seeking information from families, service providers,
advocacy groups, and health care specialists about state or local
policies that impede the provision of quality service.
(2)Taking steps to ensure that relevant health policy issues that
have an impact on children are forwarded to the children's health
policy board.
(3)Advising the children's health policy board with respect to the
integration of services across:
(A)programs; and
(B)state agencies;
for children with special health needs.
