Text
(a)The commissioner may order a survey of
the property if the land office finds a discrepancy between:
(1)the description of the property in the instrument by which the
state acquired title to the property; and
(2)information contained in the land office.
(b)The survey plat and field notes of a survey conducted under this
section shall be filed in the land office.
(c)The transferring agency shall pay the cost of the survey made
under this section.
