Text
The agency head of a transferring agency must do the following:
(1)Find that the property is surplus to the needs of the agency.
(2)Notify the department that the agency wants to transfer the
property.
(3)Provide the details of the proposed transfer as required by the
department.
(4)Submit a request to the budget agency, in writing, that the
governor approve the transfer of the property.
Subdivisions (1) and (4) do not apply to a lease of state property.
