Text
Retrocession of jurisdiction under this chapter must be perfected as follows:
(1)An agent of the United States authorized to dispose of
property must give written notice of the retrocession to the
governor.
(2)The governor must accept the retrocession on behalf of the
state on the written notice.
(3)The notice, with the governor's acceptance, must be:
(A)recorded in the office of the recorder of the county where
the property is located; and
(B)filed in the land office.
