Text
In making said monthly allowances, it shall be
the duty of the officers as aforesaid authorized to make the same, not
to exceed in any one month one-twelfth of the amount appropriated for
the current expenses of the same Institution for the last preceding year
for which an appropriation shall have been made by the General
Assembly.
