Effective 1-1-2026. Sec. 701.
(a)A provider required to be licensed
under this chapter shall maintain records in a manner that will enable
the department to determine whether the provider is complying with
the provisions of this chapter. The department shall be given free
access to the records wherever the records are located. Records
concerning any earned wage access services transaction shall be
retained for two (2) years after the transaction is initiated. A provider
licensed or required to be licensed under this chapter is subject to IC 28-1-2-30.5 with respect to any records maintained by the provider.
