Text

The department may enter into cooperative agreements and pay for necessary services with other financial institutions' regulatory agencies to facilitate the regulation of banks, corporate fiduciaries, and bank holding companies doing business in this state. The department may accept reports of examinations and other records from those other agencies instead of conducting its own examinations of corporate fiduciaries with offices in other states or banks controlled by bank holding companies located in other states. The department may take any action jointly with other regulatory agencies having concurrent jurisdiction over banks, corporate fiduciaries, and bank holding companies doing business in this state or may take actions independently in order to carry out its responsibilities.
