§ 28-1-7-17 — Secretary of state; approval of articles of consolidation; issuance of certificates of consolidation and incorporation

Upon the filing of the articles of consolidation, the secretary of state shall:

(1)endorse the approval of the secretary of state upon each of the copies of the articles;
(2)retain one (1) copy of the articles;
(3)issue a certificate of consolidation and incorporation to the new corporation; and
(4)return the remaining copies of the approved articles of consolidation, together with the certificate of consolidation and incorporation, to the new corporation or to its designated agent. Formerly: Acts 1933, c.40, s.130. As amended by P.L.122-1994, SEC.55.
