§ 28-1-7-10 — Articles of merger; approval by secretary of state; issuance of certificate of merger
Indiana·Art. 1 DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS·Ch. 7 Merger and Consolidation of Banks, Trust Companies,
Upon the filing of the articles of merger, the secretary of state shall:
(1)endorse the approval of the secretary of state upon each of the
copies of the articles;
(2)retain one (1) copy of the articles;
(3)issue a certificate of merger; and
(4)return the remaining copies of the approved articles, together
with the certificate of merger, to the surviving corporation or its
designated agent.
