Text

(a)A citizen, a partnership, a corporation, a limited liability company, an association, or a public officer or agency, as a condition precedent to maintaining an action, must give notice in writing by registered or certified mail to:
(1)the department of natural resources;
(2)the department; and
(3)the attorney general.
(b)The attorney general shall promptly notify all state administrative agencies having jurisdiction over or control of the pollution, impairment, destruction, or protection of the environment for which relief is sought. [Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-6-1-1(a) part.]
