§ 13-26-2-1 — Petitions to organize district
The establishment of a regional district may be
initiated only by a petition filed with the department. A copy of the
petition shall also be filed not later than ten (10) days after the filing
with the department in the office of the executive of each governmental
entity having territory within the proposed district.
