Text

(a)The commission consists of the following thirteen (13) members:
(1)The commissioner or the commissioner's designee.
(2)The executive director of the department of homeland security or the executive director's designee.
(3)The superintendent of the state police department or the superintendent's designee.
(4)The state fire marshal or the state fire marshal's designee.
(5)Three (3) representatives of business and industry.
(6)Three (3) representatives of the public.
(7)Three (3) representatives of local government.
(b)The governor shall appoint the members provided for in subsection (a)(5) through (a)(7). A member appointed under this subsection serves at the pleasure of the governor. [Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-36-3.]
