§ 13-21-3-8 — Board of directors of district; term

Indiana·Art. 21 SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICTS
(a)This section does not apply to the members of a board of public works that constitutes the board of a county district under section 5(c) of this chapter.
(b)The term of office of a member of the board of a district who is appointed from the membership of an executive, legislative, or fiscal body under this chapter is coextensive with the member's term of office on that body. The term of office of other appointed members of the board is two (2) years.
(c)All members of the board serve at the pleasure of the appointing authority. [Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-9.5-2-8.]
