Text

(a)The environmental management permit operation fund is established for the purpose of providing money for permitting and directly associated activities of the following programs of the department and the board:
(1)The National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System program.
(2)The solid waste program.
(3)The hazardous waste program.
(4)The safe drinking water program.
(b)Money in the fund may be used only to pay the direct and indirect reasonable costs of the activities referred to in subsection (a), including the following:
(1)The preparation of rules and guidance regarding implementation and enforcement of the programs listed in subsection (a)(1) through (a)(4).
(2)The review of and action on:
(A)permit applications;
(B)permit modifications;
(C)permit renewals; and
(D)permi
