§ 13-11-2-68 — "Environmental audit"

Indiana·Art. 11 DEFINITIONS

"Environmental audit", for purposes of IC 13-28-4, means a voluntary, an internal, and a comprehensive evaluation of:

(1)a facility or an activity at a facility regulated under:
(A)this title;
(B)a rule or standard adopted under this title;
(C)any determination, permit, or order made or issued by the commissioner under this title; or
(D)federal law; or
(2)management systems related to a facility or an activity; that is designed to identify and prevent noncompliance with laws and improve compliance with laws, and that is conducted by an owner or operator of a facility or is an activity by an employee of the owner or operator or by an independent contractor.
