§ 13-11-2-211 — "Solid waste management unit"
Indiana·Art. 11 DEFINITIONS
"Solid waste management unit", for
purposes of environmental management laws, means a discernible unit
at a hazardous waste facility from which hazardous waste or
constituents of hazardous waste might migrate, irrespective of whether
the unit was intended for the management of solid or hazardous wastes.
The term includes containers, tanks, surface impoundments, waste
piles, land treatment units, landfills, incinerators, and underground
injection wells.
