§ 13-11-2-161 — "Petroleum facility"

Indiana·Art. 11 DEFINITIONS
(a)"Petroleum facility", for purposes of IC 13-24-1, means any of the following:
(1)A building.
(2)A structure.
(3)An installation.
(4)A piece of equipment.
(5)A pipe, including a pipe that runs into a sewer or publicly owned treatment facility.
(6)A well.
(7)A pit.
(8)A pond.
(9)A lagoon.
(10)An impoundment.
(11)A ditch.
(12)A landfill.
(13)A storage container.
(14)A motor vehicle.
(15)Rolling stock.
(16)Aircraft.
(17)A site or an area on which petroleum has been:
(A)deposited;
(B)stored;
(C)disposed of;
(D)placed; or
(E)located.
(b)The term does not include the following:
(1)A consumer product in consumer use.
(2)An underground storage tank or aboveground storage tank. [Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-20.1-5 part.]
