§ 13-11-2-141 — "Noncontact cooling water"

Indiana·Art. 11 DEFINITIONS

"Noncontact cooling water", for purposes of IC 13-18-20, means cooling water:

(1)that is discharged to waters of Indiana;
(2)that is used for the sole purpose of removing unwanted heat from a process, generally through a heat exchanger; and
(3)that does not otherwise come into contact with a production process or any raw material or manufactured product. [Pre-1996 Recodification Citation: 13-7-16.1-1(i).]
