§ 1-1-1-7 — Periods of limitation and requirements of notice
Indiana·Title 1 GENERAL PROVISIONS·Art. 1 LAWS GOVERNING THE STATE·Ch. 1 Implementary Provisions for the Indiana Code
The running of any period of limitation or any
requirement of notice contained in any provisions of law repealed and
replaced by provisions of the Indiana Code are not affected by the
enactment of the Code. All actions, proceedings, and prosecutions,
whether civil or criminal, for causes arising or acts committed before
the effectiveness of this Code, may be commenced and prosecuted as
if this Code had not been enacted.
