(was 735 ILCS 5/7-103.124) Sec. 25-7-103.124. Quick-take; Williamson County. The corporate authorities of Williamson County are hereby authorized to acquire, singularly or jointly with other parties, by gift, purchase, condemnation, or otherwise, any land or interest in land, necessary for the construction and development of a coal mine or transportation facilities to serve a coal mine, to improve or arrange for the improvement of the land and, if deemed to be in the public interest, to convey such land, or interest in land, so acquired and improved to a railroad or company developing the coal mine for fair market value. In addition, quick-take proceedings under Article 20 may be used for a period of 12 months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly by
