Text
Within 60 days after October 1, 1975 (the effective date of Public Act 79-794), the Mayor of Danville, with the advice and consent of the Danville city council, shall appoint 9 members of the board, 3 members to be appointed for terms of 1 year, 3 members to be appointed for terms of 2 years, and 3 members to be appointed for terms of 3 years, such terms commencing on the date each is appointed. Within 60 days after September 11, 1989 (the effective date of Public Act 86-907), the chairman of the county board of Vermilion County, with the advice and consent of the county board, shall appoint 3 members to the Vermilion County Metropolitan Exposition, Auditorium and Office Building Board to serve for terms of one, 2, or 3 years, respectively, such terms commencing on the date each is appoint
