§ 9-3-29

Immediately upon awarding the contract for the construction of the improvement, the clerk of any such municipality shall file a certificate in the court in which the judgment of confirmation was entered certifying to the fact that the contract has been awarded. The clerk of the court in which such judgment is rendered shall certify the assessment roll and judgment to the officers of such municipality authorized to collect such special assessment, or if there has been an appeal taken then such clerk of court shall certify such part of the judgments as is not included in such appeal. Such certificate shall be filed by the officer receiving the same in his office. With such assessment roll and judgment, the clerk of the court shall also issue a warrant for the collection of such assessment. T
