Text
The trustees in every village or incorporated town specified in Section 3.1-25-70 shall have the same powers and perform the same duties as have been given by any special Act to the legislative body of that specified village or incorporated town and that have been given or may later be given to trustees in villages or incorporated towns organized under this Code. This Section, however, does not authorize the trustees in a village or incorporated town to perform any act that its legislative body is specifically prohibited from performing under the terms of the Act creating that village or incorporated town.
