§ 3.1-35-130 — Collector; possession of money

The collector is prohibited from keeping the money of the municipality in his or her possession, or in the possession of any person for his or her use, beyond the time prescribed for its payment to the treasurer. Any violation of this provision shall subject the collector to immediate removal from office.
