§ 5-7002 — Election for tax levy

When a county board passes a resolution asking that an annual tax may be levied for the purpose of maintaining public nonsectarian hospitals in the county, and so instructs the county clerk, the county board shall certify the resolution and the proposition to the proper election officials, who shall submit the proposition at an election in accordance with the general election law. The proposition shall be in substantially the following form: -------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Shall....
