Text
The provisions of this Division may be made applicable to improvement of a private street or road upon petition signed by 3/5 of the owners of record of properties abutting or served by such private street or roadway. The petition shall be filed with the Committee and is subject to the provisions of Section 5-32004 and subsequent provisions of the Division. Upon completion of the improvement, the improvement is to be incorporated into the township or district road system as provided in Section 6-325 of the Illinois Highway Code.
