Within 60 days after their appointment, the trustees shall organize by selecting from their number a president, secretary, treasurer and such other officers as are deemed necessary who shall hold office for the fiscal year in which elected and until their successors are selected and qualified. Three trustees shall constitute a quorum of the board for the transaction of business. The board shall hold regular monthly meetings. Special meetings may be called by the president and shall be called on the request of a majority of members. The board shall provide for the proper and safe keeping of its permanent records and for the recording of the corporate action of the museum district.
