Text
The county clerk shall record, in a book used exclusively for that purpose, all ordinances passed by the county board. Immediately following each ordinance the county clerk shall make a memorandum of the date of the passage and of the publication or posting, where required, of the ordinance. This record and memorandum, or a certified copy thereof, shall be prima facie evidence of the contents, passage, and of the publication or posting of ordinances. Such book or pamphlet shall not relieve a county board from publication of notices as otherwise required by statute or court order.
