§ 5-24013 — Discontinuance of treatment

Whenever a petition signed by 200 or more legal voters of a county which has adopted this Division, is presented to the county board, requesting the submission of a proposition whether or not the treatment of persons afflicted with cancer or tumor under the provisions of this Division be discontinued, the county board shall adopt a resolution providing for the submission of the proposition to the voters of the county in a similar manner as is hereinabove provided for the submission of the proposition for the adoption of the provisions of this Division. The county board shall certify the resolution and the proposition to the proper election officials, who shall submit the proposition at an election in accordance with the general election law.
