Counties of greater than 300,000 but less than 2,000,000; reporting of information; code of conduct for county appointees.

(a)A county board in a county with a population greater than 300,000 but less than 2,000,000 may by ordinance require any unit of local government or agency to which the county board chairman or county executive nominates and the county board confirms a majority of member appointments to provide the county with detailed information, including, but not limited to, the unit's or agency's finances, budget, contracts, employment, and ethics policies, in the manner and with the frequency specified by the ordinance. The ordinance may require the unit of local government or agency to immediately disclose to the county any internal or external findings of non-compliance with
