§ 2-6009 — Powers and duties of commissioners

Said board of commissioners shall have the management of the affairs of said Cook County, in the manner provided by law, and may exercise the same powers, perform the same duties, and shall be subject to the same rules, regulations and penalties prescribed by law for the county board in other counties, except as herein otherwise provided; and shall also be subject to the rules, regulations and restrictions herein provided.
