Text
A majority of the members of any county board shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business; and all questions, ordinances, resolutions, or motions which shall arise at meetings shall be determined by the votes of the majority of the members present, except in such cases as is otherwise provided. A county board in a county where the chairman is elected at large may upon passage, adoption or enactment of a specific ordinance, resolution, or motion apply the following provisions: Any ordinance, resolution, or motion passed, adopted or otherwise enacted by the board in a county where the chairman is elected at large shall be presented to the chairman before it becomes effective. If the chairman approves such ordinance, resolution or motion, he shall sign it and it shall become law
