§ 5-65 — Amendments to STAR bond district

(a)Any addition of real property to a STAR bond district or any substantial change to a STAR bond district plan shall be subject to the same procedure for public notice, hearing, and approval, including approval by the Department and the Office of the Governor, as is required for the establishment of the STAR bond district under this Act. The addition or removal of land to or from a STAR bond district shall require the consent of the master developer of the STAR bond district.
(b)Any land that is outside of and contiguous to an established STAR bond district and is subsequently owned, leased, or controlled by the master developer shall be added to a STAR bond district at the request of the master developer and by approval of the political subdivision if the land becomes a part of a STAR
