Text

(a)A contracting municipality or county shall refuse to provide any information, including financial information, to any third party who violates this Act or rules adopted pursuant to this Act or the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act or rules adopted pursuant to the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act.
(b)The Department may, after notice and a hearing, revoke or suspend the certificate of registration of any third party for a violation of any provision of this Act, for noncompliance with any provision contained in this Act, or because the Department determines that the third party is ineligible for a certificate of registration for any one or more of the reasons provided for in Section 5-35 of this Act.
