November 14th of each year is designated as Diabetes Awareness Day to be observed throughout the State as a day for the people of Illinois to support efforts to decrease the prevalence of diabetes, develop better treatments, and work toward an eventual cure for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes through increased research, treatment, and prevention.
