Text

The Environmental Justice Grant Fund is hereby created as a special fund in the State treasury to be administered by the Agency. The Fund shall be used by the Agency to make grants to eligible entities, including, but not limited to, units of local government, community-based nonprofits, and eligible organizations representing areas of environmental justice concern, to fund environmental projects benefiting areas of the State that are disproportionately burdened by environmental harms. Eligible projects include, but are not limited to, water infrastructure improvements, energy efficiency projects, and transportation decarbonization projects.
