The Water Resources Fund is hereby created as a special fund in the State treasury to be administered by the Department of Natural Resources. The Fund shall be used by the Department of Natural Resources for administrative costs under obligations under the Water Use Act of 1983, the Environmental Protection Act, or related statutes, including, but not limited to, reviewing water use plans and providing technical assistance to entities for water resource planning.
