The Agency shall coordinate with the Office of the State Fire Marshal in the administration of the Leaking Underground Storage Tank program, as established in Subtitle I of the Hazardous and Solid Waste Amendments of 1984 (P.L. 98-616), as amended, of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976 (P.L. 94-580). The Agency shall act as the lead agency in the formulation of regulations and policies, and shall be responsible for groundwater monitoring and any necessary site cleanup requirements encountered under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act of 1976, the Comprehensive Environmental Response Compensation and Liability Act, or the State "Clean Illinois" program.
