(a) The General Assembly Technology Fund is hereby established as a special fund in the State treasury. The Fund may accept deposits from the General Revenue Fund and any other source, whether private or public. Moneys in the fund may be used, subject to appropriation, by the President of the Senate, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Minority Leader of the Senate, and the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives for the purpose of meeting the technology-related needs of their respective offices and the General Assembly. (b) On July 1, 2022, the State Comptroller shall order transferred and the State Treasurer shall transfer $3,000,000 from the General Revenue Fund to the General Assembly Technology Fund.
