The Legislative Information System is hereby established as a legislative support services agency. The Legislative Information System is subject to the provisions of this Act and shall perform the powers and duties delegated to it under "An Act in relation to a Legislative Information System", approved September 16, 1977, as amended, and such other functions as may be provided by law.
