§ 5

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 25 LEGISLATURE·Act 25 ILCS 5/ General Assembly Organization Act.
In all cases of trials of impeachment, or other trials before the senate, the president, secretary, or any member of the senate, shall have power to administer oaths or affirmations to the members, witnesses, or any other person required to be sworn.
