During the first 6 months of the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010, every member of the 96th General Assembly is mandatorily required to forfeit 6 days of compensation. The State Comptroller shall deduct the equivalent of 1/261st of the annual salary of each member of the 96th General Assembly from the compensation of that member in each of the first 6 months of the fiscal year. During the second 6 months of the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2010, every member of the 97th General Assembly is mandatorily required to forfeit 6 days of compensation.
