Before entering upon the duties of his office, each commissioner shall give a bond, with surety to be approved by the Governor, in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) for the faithful performance of his duties as such commissioner. Before entering upon the duties of his office the secretary shall give a bond, with surety to be approved by the Governor, in the sum of five thousand dollars ($5,000) for the faithful performance of his duties as secretary.
