(a)The Illinois Gaming Board shall award one organization gaming license to each person or entity having operating control of a racetrack that applies under Section 56 of the Illinois Horse Racing Act of 1975, subject to the application and eligibility requirements of this Section. Within 60 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 101st General Assembly, a person or entity having operating control of a racetrack may submit an application for an organization gaming license.
