Text

A group or individual policy of accident and health insurance or managed care plan amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of the amendatory Act of this 95th General Assembly must provide coverage for a vaccine for shingles that is approved for marketing by the federal Food and Drug Administration if the vaccine is ordered by a physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches and the enrollee is 60 years of age or older.
