Text
An individual or group policy of accident and health insurance that provides maternity coverage and is amended, delivered, issued, or renewed after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 92nd General Assembly must provide coverage for prenatal HIV testing ordered by an attending physician licensed to practice medicine in all its branches, or by a physician assistant or advanced practice registered nurse, including but not limited to orders consistent with the recommendations of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists or the American Academy of Pediatrics.
