The rules of practice, the course and method of procedure in circuit courts as established by the Civil Practice Law and Supreme Court Rules and any amendments thereto are adopted for the purposes of this Article except where other procedures or rules are in this Article expressly provided. Appeals may be taken as in other civil cases.
