Text
(a)The Department shall have the authority to impose fines on any licensed vehicle service provider, stretcher van provider, designated trauma center, Acute Injury Stabilization Center, resource hospital, associate hospital, or participating hospital.
(b)The Department shall adopt rules pursuant to this Act which establish a system of fines related to the type and level of violation or repeat violation, including, but not limited to:
(1)A fine not exceeding $10,000 for each violation which created a condition or occurrence presenting a substantial probability that death or serious harm to an individual will or did result therefrom; and (2) A fine not exceeding $5,000 for each violation which creates or created a condition or occurrence which threatens the health, safety or welfare of an
