Text
For applications for services as may be provided by any department created under this Code, an Illinois municipal identification card shall be considered an acceptable secondary form of identification if such identification is required by an applicable department. Nothing in this Section shall be construed as to allow a municipal identification card to be used as an applicant's primary form of identification. For the purposes of this Section, "municipal identification card" means a photo identification card that is issued by an Illinois municipality, as defined under Section 1-1-2 of the Illinois Municipal Code, in accordance with its ordinances or codes that consists of the photo, name, and address of the card holder.
